The EVRoaming Foundation has set up a dedicated working group aimed at standardising booking
functionalities, also known as reservations, for truck charging. This initiative is part of the ongoing
evolution of the Open Charge Point Interface (OCPI), a global protocol that underpins seamless
communication across the EV ecosystem.
Last year the Use Cases were collected and validated and are currently translated into
technical OCPI specifications that will be offered as an addendum for OCPI v2.3. Release is scheduled
for May 2025.
